ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- US Airways announced new specially discounted online fares today for roundtrip travel from the U.S. to Aruba, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Cancun, Grand Cayman, St. Maarten, San Juan and Santo Domingo. These sale fares have been discounted by as much as 50 percent off standard advanced purchase roundtrip fares.

As an added incentive, Dividend Miles members can earn double miles for travel between Philadelphia and Santo Domingo through Jan. 31, 2001. Members must register for this offer prior to departure by calling 1-800-872-4738 and selecting Bonus Request number 2273 or online at usairways.com/dividendmiles/santodomingo/register.htm.

To take advantage of these exclusive online travel bargains, tickets must be purchased online at usairways.com at least seven days prior to departure, within 24 hours of making the reservation and no later than Nov. 1, 2000. Travel under this sale is valid Nov. 1 through Dec. 21, 2000. Holiday blackouts to the Caribbean are Nov. 21-22, and from the Caribbean, Nov. 26-27. The lowest fares are available when traveling Monday through Thursday. One Saturday night stay is required and a maximum 30-day stay is permitted. Tickets must be purchased using a major credit card and become nonrefundable 24 hours after making an initial reservation.

These sale fares are subject to charges including, but not limited to, applicable airport passenger facility charges of $3 to $12, depending on the itinerary, international taxes/fees/surcharges of up to $90, and are subject to government approval. Under certain conditions, itinerary changes may be made prior to the scheduled flights for a $75 administrative service fee, plus the difference between the fares, if applicable (there is no administrative change fee for MetroJet).

Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change and other conditions may apply.

Depending on travel needs, there may be alternative routings available for the same fares involving at least one flight segment on regional aircraft operated by US Airways Express carriers Allegheny, Air Midwest, CCAIR, Chautauqua, Colgan Air, CommutAir, Mesa, Piedmont, PSA, or Trans States.
