Help -hotel resevation fell through

Puerto Plata/Sosua/Cabarete, Samana, and the Capital are all several hours apart...and all have hotels in the $50 range...can you be more specific??

In Sosua, I haven't been to this hotel, but it just opened recently and I've heard pretty good things about it, not sure of they have a website...The SeaBreeze.

In Cabarete you can try Hotel Kaoba, they definitely have a website. There are a few others as well, check: www.activecabarete.com

There's also a fairly recent post listing about a dozen hotels in Sosua in that price range. Lists of hotels in different price ranges can be found for Samana and SD...try doing a few searches.

I've also heard that it is pretty good...but have not stayed there
