Hello friends,

Anyone knows if locals can go to Pacha's disco? or if is it closed for them? (I hope not).

Another question, how much would a taxi cost from Riu complex to Plaza Bavaro?

And the last one, is it possible to take a free boat to Captain Cook from Riu resorts?

Thank you in advance...

Yes locals are allowed in the pachas disco, i believe free of charge except when there is a band playing and that is usually every other friday of each month and the cost is $150 pesos. The taxi fair is about $80-100 pesos from riu to pachas. I don't believe you can take the boat from riu complex though. Hope that answers most of your questions. Oh ya, one thing the local must show a piece of I.D. before entering the Riu gates.

Hi Beatriz,

Lana is right, locals are allowed at the Pacha Disco, they just have to provide an ID at the entrance of the Riu Resort if they don't work in Riu.

A taxi from Riu to Plaza B?varo costs 100 RDS.

You can take a boat to go to Capitan Cook, I think that the boat picks people up on the beach in front of the diving center.

Hope this helps.
