I spoke to the owner via telephone. he sounds like a good person so this attitude alone should make people feel right at home. He is actually not Indian as I was told by dr1 posters. He is from Trinidad but from Indian roots. I am not sure how much the food differs from mainland Indian sub-continent. I am sure they eat exactly like them but maybe with a little caribbean twist to the flavor.
I am also looking forward to a review. I hope his business takes off to a good start.

This restaurant is located on paraguay st which is at the end of pedro clisente but before the casino. You drive down pedro clisente and where you take the left curve next to the abandoned pink building the first right hand turn is Paraguay street. This is a dirt road and the restaurant is the first building on your left. They bought this property and built the restaurant ( huge gamble rather than renting).

I tried the lamb wrap which was simillar to the caribbean roti and was filled with all lamb meat which was tender and tasty. Price $rd 290.

I brought home an order of the lamb vindaloo and will try it latter @ $rd 375 their menu says it was $rd 340 so maybe they charged me for take away. I thought the portion size is too small so you will need a side dish.

They charge $rd 150 for boiled rice ( not dominican rice) and have other rice dishes upwards to $rd 195 for garlic rice.

They do not have all of the dishes on their menu and i have a copy of what they do have and can email it to all that request it.

their number is 809 571 4698

Where is it? PLEASE!!

This one's in Sosua, so not that handy for capitale?os, but there's also one opening in the Zona Colonial in Santo Domingo: see recent thread by dringa/Oscar formerly of Mi Taverna of Pakistani night fame.
