The furthering of ANY talent would be a great asset to this country's youth. The message of "yes, we can", "failure is not an option" and to learn to tease with each ones own limits (way past eto no 'ta muy comodo, no) would come to mind.

I see "my" Melani (8)... she is strong as an oak AND flexible and fast, she'd have the foundations to become a great gymnast or athlete... but here, I don't even know where to look for help.

J D Saucer, You could start with the Dance School at Las Canas. That will give her a basic sense of movement and confidence. From there, she can go any direction from dance to sports.

J-D: there is a good judo school there next to the Police Headquarters..In the sports complex. They have little girls there, too...
