Has the Nightlife picked up in Cabarete or should we try Sosua?. My girlfriend and I are looking for some good clubs/bars that play Batchata, Reggaton and dancing with the locals. Would appreciate a list of bars in those locations.

Bamboo in Cabarete is the place for u - less putras than Sosua discos. Enjoy.

If you want bachata, merengue and salsain Cabarete...a couple of bars down from Bambu (next to Onnos) is a place called called Calamari en Folie...

Reggaeton, techno and hiphop, definitely Bambu and Onnos...right next to each other

While High Season has begun, it's definitely seems to be off to a slower start than last year...but still good especially on the weekends.
