We are considering moving to the dr. north coast
does anyone know of english taught universities there?

im pretty sure UNIBE is the only one that offers English taught classes. this is only for students who are studying medicine. and even if you are studying medicine not ALL classes are in English, you would still have to take some in spanish. but be aware that to take classes in English you have to be a US citizen and expect to pay around $12,000 US a year (for medicine).

when i came here i was looking for English taught university as well. since i wasn't studying medicine i had to settle for an all Spanish university. i went to UNIBE a few months ago, and thats the information they gave me.

Now why would anyone thing that a Latin American country would have universities teaching in a language other than Spanish or Portuguese??

The only reason they exist is for making MONEY!!! Unibe is one and Utesa is the other (not recommended). If you can't get into a med school in the States, you go to one of the off-shore schools...and PAY!!
