I'm a new member here. Thanks for the invite hammerdown. We have been coming to Cabarete for 5 yrs. and love it here. We'll be back next yr. for a month or 2, for sure. I find most of the locals here a gentle loving people. I hope us gringos don't ruin the charm of Cabarete, but how can we not. It is growing so fast.

Welcome Ben and Thunder. Glad to have you aboard. It's a good and informative board, and we have a lot of fun besides, if you can learn to read between the lines.

It will take awhile to learn the cast of characters, but you will catch on quickly I'm sure. I spent a year just reading both new and old stuff, before I actually joined and started participating. There is a wealth of information in the 'search' section and in the archives.

Enjoy yourselves, it's quite an interesting bunch here.
