Starting a Business in the DR

Is there anyone here who is familiar with starting up a business (tourism excursion) ?

I'm well adversed in business start up in Canada, but now seeking to try my luck in the DR with a small start up. Any help / resources anyone can help is appreciated.

Im currently in the process of my first business venture onthe north coast. I am in Canada as well. what sort of info are you looking for?
