DR1-ers of the tri-state area!!

My friend is visiting so we need to take her out on the town. Those of you who came to the Talldrink DR1 BBQ in 07 remember her...

Can we try again, maybe March 6 in the Bronx like we tried before?

I'm in town and can come but I'd prefer it to be on the NY side of the river as I live in Putnam County.

HEY! I actually just checked out their website and i HAVE been there before, but never ate at the restaurant! I always go to the supermarket to get food! :)
in fact it is one of the few places I can actually get great, fresh skirt steak...so when I am in the NJ area and I need some yummies I usually stop here to pick up. Very easy to get to as it is right off 495 [near Lincoln Tunnel]. I suppose parking should be easy as it has a parking lot though sometimes you might have to wait to get a spot!

Mar, thanks for the great suggestion.

I have been here. Food portions are generous and the place is nice and big. Very easy to get to cause is right off the highway.

I was also thinking of Estrella Del Caribe in Secaucus. Anybody been there? They have a DJ On Fridays and a nice bar too.

I want to go as well....the last place is about 50 minutes from me, that was nice..... I dont have a problem with an hour or a little more....

the 6th is coming fast, lets pull the trigger on this quick.
