There will be two of us coming to explore DR in a few weeks. We will fly into Santo Domingo and then take a bus (Caribe) to Jarabacoa where we will stay for one night. Next, we will be going north to Rio San Juan for a night. How do you get from Jarabacoa to Rio San Juan? Are there any buses that go from one to the other? Any idea what the cost would be? Would we have to bus all the way back to Santo Domingo and then go all the way back north to Rio San Juan from Santo Domingo?
After Rio San Juan, we are going to Las Galeras. Same thing -- can you get from Rio San Juan to Las Galeras using public transportation? Is this easy to do? Any idea on cost and time of travel?
