Has anyone seen the seriously nice boat that ran aground near El rocon 2 nights ago? There's a lot of speculation, and I've only heard snippets...it would be nice to hear some facts...
What I know for a fact, which is a crying shame (for a boat like that) is watching the locals strip the thing of everything while the 'Marina de la Guerra' just sit there and watch...I watched today pieces of furniture and the such thrown into the sea, by the time they get it to shore it is like firewood as the sea breaks it all up...
Not to mention the huge scratch marks down the side of the thing, from the locals doing their thing...
Welcome to the Dominican Republic, captain and crew, perhaps next time you will consider mooring the boat at Ocean World Marina?
