Punta Cana to Cabarete flights

takeoffweb.com (Takeoff Destiantion Service) is no longer doing the regular $150 flight from Punta Cana to Cabarete. Has anyone else opened up that route? I know driving is many hours. Are there any other flights, or even boats?

Hi - The best thing to do is depending on how many people will be travelling, to charter a plane. If you have more then 4 - it makes sense. You can PM me with details and I will get a rate for you for a charter flight from Punta Cana to Puerta Plata Airport. If that is the route you want to go - there are other ways, via ground transport thru Santo Domingo -but basically its a day trip however you look at it from one side to the North Coast via ground.

We've seen the charter flight for $800+ and cannot swing that. The drive by car takes way too long. Looks like we'll be staying in Punta Cana hoping enough people also are willing to charter that we can get the price down to an affordable price.
