Hi,
I, also, posted this question in the legal section, but I'm not sure if it is a legal one or not. Basically, a while ago (approx 6 months) our neighbours told us that they would be constructing a partition wall. They've starting building the wall today and have asked my husband, only two days ago, if he could contribute to half the cost.
We are in no position to contribute at the moment, but my question is, do we have a legal responsibility to pay for half, if it's not anything we agreed to do?
Many thanks,
Tish
