Are tips included on the bill or if not included, how much should be paid? Even if included on the bill, should an additional amount for average service be added? I have gone out with Dominicans who just put down loose change as a tip. How about taxi's? If you settle on the cost, should you add a tip?

There is usually a 10% service charge on the bill. The convention here is to leave a further 10% in cash as a tip, whether or not you are paying by credit card, but not everyone agrees.

Taxi drivers are not usually tipped, unless they provide some additional service.
