I just got back. Some things that I would recommend are:
Go into Bayahibe. It is a wonderful little town with very nice people. I can tell you about the resturants that we ate at. Most people that go always eat at the resort, but I would recommend getting out at least once in a while. Let me know if you want more info on resturants.
Dance at the Disco in Bayahibe. It is a local disco. The locals looked at us kind of wierd at first but after a while they were teaching us how to dance. We had a blast.
Go on a boat excursion. In town go to Julissa. Resturant and ask for Dario. He took us on an excursion that I will never forget. All day in the boat, 4 stop on different islands and lunch. It was wonderful. Tell him that the Rebecca (one of the group of six americans) told you about it.
