I am looking for someone who knows about Multiple-entry visa into Canada. My friend who is from the Dominican Republic just received a 3 year multiple-entry visa. Does having a multiple-entry visa mean that someone from the Dominican Republic could come and visit Canada, get married, apply for a Permanent Resident Visa and then return to the DR while waiting for the PR. I was wondering if once they applied for the PR that they would be refused entry into Canada after visiting the Dominican Republic. The Canadian visa web site seems to suggest that this could happen if a Dominican was to apply for a PR from inside Canada but it doesn't seem clear to me. Does anyone have experience with this?
