12 sets of Larimar jewellry

Hola amigos,

After almost 6 weeks in DR, I am leaving this Sunday for London.

I am currently in Cabarete and looking to buy 12 sets of Larimar jewellery (necklace, earings and bracelets) for my family and friends. I checked in Sosua and a shop quoted RD$650 per set.

Few questions:
1. Whats the right price for each set?
2. Is it cheaper to buy in Santo Domingo? My flight is from SD and so I can halt and buy in SD?
3. Any other ideas of gifts for men and women?
4. Will I have any problems at the airport customs?

prices will be the same, more or less, all over the country. airport in SD - very expensive. 650 pesos per set is very low. i bought a small larimar pendant, set in silver and that thing alone was close to 800 pesos. my thought would be that either the metal is some cheap crap or that larimar is fake.
other possible gifts, always, are cigars, rum, coffee and cocoa powder. i also bring home dominican jams (papaya, guava etc, something that cannot be easily found in poland).
take a trip to brugal factory in POP, they have a shop with some brugal accessories there: t-****s, baseball caps, dominos, cups, lighters etc. not very expensive either (i think 200-250 pesos for a shirt). you may also try to buy viagra (available in any pharmacy) if you have anyone interested.
