    Default CamelQuest 2009 - Rocky's Transatlantic Odyssey

is the no return cruise to Europe, leaving the 19th of April.

The price is showing as $499 right now but it pops up and down and goes as low as $429, based on double occupancy, of course.
Bars, spas & tours are extra, the rest is all included.

Loose? Yeah, I'm loose but you won't lose me to the UK. Too bloody cold there. I have no definite plans but seriously considering getting over to London from the port and catching a cheapo plane to Marrakesh ($120 US) and go exploring through Morroco.

Rocky if you go to Marrakesh, make sure you stay in an hotel in the old walled town - the Medina - they have like little guest houses which are lovely - called riads I think. Eat food in the main square at night from the stalls. Do not let the dentists sitting in the square touch your teeth!!! (The ones next to the snake charmers). Make sure you go to the Atlas mountains. Fabulous leather goods to buy there too.

    have fun

    Looking at the world
Through the sunset in your eyes
    Trying to make the train
    Through clear Moroccan skies

Ducks and pigs and chickens call
    Animal carpet wall to wall
American ladies five foot tall in blue.

Sweeping cobwebs from the edges of my mind
Had to get away to see what we could find
Hope the days that lie ahead

Bring us back to where they've led
Listen not to what's been said to you

    Would you know we're riding
    on the Marrakesh Express
    Would you know we're riding
    on the Marrakesh Express

    All on board that train

    C,C,N,&Y,& Rocky

    Sounds like a good trip.

But don't let the snake charmers touch your snake.

They say that you can smell the Tunisian towns from 5 miles away.
I wouldn't go there if it was free, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.
One of my best friends went there and told me the whole story in detail and it bordered on nightmare.

Honestly.....I think having to be warned not to let the dentists touch your teeth blows right past that border of nightmare!! I have a vision of a bunch of crazy dentists pawing at you as you walk past them...sadistic giggle and all!! (And people say my fear of dentists is silly...I think not!!!) and don't even get me started on snake charmers!! YIKES!

i like how the snake charmers come up to tourists and throw/put their snakes around your neck. when they freak out and want to remove the snake they will do so for a 'fee'
gotta love the hustling in the land of morroco!
