Hello, I live in Cabrera on the NE coast of the DR. I have a friend who found a cat in a cat carrier on the side of the road about a month ago. It is a neutered male cat. He is light orange and has tabby markings (he's striped). He is very friendly. We believe the cat got left behind when his owner was traveling. The cat carrier came from the Domodedovo Airport in Russia. The destination listed on the cat carrier is Punta Cana.
This cat is very well cared for and I'm sure someone is really missing their cat. If you could please forward this message on to everyone you know, possibly we can reunite the cat with his owner.
