Hello! everyone. I'm looking for a cable company that offers programs in English, and that the menu is also in English. Has anyone had any luck finding one. Please share your experiences.

Thanks

To get English language programs, your best bet is to get Dish network. There are two ways to get it:

With a paid subscription and for free.

Paid subscription - if you have U.S. SSN you can apply for DN or even DirecTV post-paid package and have your equipment shipped to Miami forwarder, or even better, ahve the people come in to install the system before you leave and just bring in the receiver.

Another option for a paid subsription with Dish is a NOW package. It is a prepaid package. You buy a 50-dollar receiver (DT 301) - online at various websites or on ebay (always buy new) and the antenna. Then you purchase a 40 dollar card (online) and just call in every 30-40 days to recharge the PIN. You can select several apckages, incluidng full HBO, Cinemax and Showtime packages, (the number of days you get depends on the package you select) - with the basic package including over 100 channels you get 35 days of programming for US$40.

There are also ways to get DishNet for free, just check advertising section of your local newspaper or check out various FTA boards.
