Judo classes for adults at PUCMM (3rd Floor, Centro de Estudiantes) usually start after 6:15 Monday through Friday. At least through the summer.

The classes are free. Most are run by Melvin Castro with help from Christian Reyes and Jose Rodriguez...I have to work in the evenings and nights so I can't do much these day. Just the kids..

There is a BJJ club in Cabarete, an hour or so out of Santiago if you want to drop in from time to time to polish up your ground work

There will be a Bujutsu exposition at the Lighthouse Lounge at Ocean World Marina this Friday at 8pm. There are quite a few members practicing this form of martial arts in the POP area.

If you are experienced and in shape you could take part in a few tournaments. How committed are you? What weight category>?

There is no veterans (masters), there are but not much competition..

Let me know, I have a calender around here some place...

Centro Olimpico Juan Pablo Duarte is home to Judo, karate and Tae Kwon Do. There are dozens of Karate and Tae Kwon Do places around the capital...Judo is more limited. Club Naco and Mirador and one other. Also in East Santo Domingo in Hainamosa.
