need a little help my daughter was in the states and broke her laptop,she left before the repairs were completed,i was thinking about sending it back by way of fedex any help or thought's on this,it's going to puerto plata

I sent mine back once via ups. When I got it back, customs tried to charge me quite a bit to receive it. When I explained to them that it was an old laptop and it was just repaired, they told me that there is special customs paper that needs to be filled out before you send the laptop out of the country (a green paper I believe). That way when it comes back, they know that it isn't new and you don't get hassled

You'd be better off finding someone who can bring it down for you. Besides the cost they could charge you, it could also get damaged in shipping.
