So, today was a big day. the new file was released for Nfusion and that one is opening up (some) N3 channels. Currently working channels are listed below.

Unfortunately the Nova's could not be updated with the new file.
The file released will not work with the NOVA.
This new file is needed for the new channels to take effect and is required.
New channels will be added on a continual basis.

You will also need U43 factory file:

You will need to:

Write down your DISEQc settings (Menu - Installation - Antenna - settings for 110 and 119 satellites such as Diseqc port and SW Dish 1,2 etc.)

1) Do a factory reset (Menu - System settings - Factory default)
2) Click OK and OK again
3) Do a factory reset (Menu - System settings - Factory default)
4) Click OK and OK again
5) Do a factory reset (Menu - System settings - Factory default)
6) Click OK and OK again
7) Do a hard reset (power button on the back panel)
8) After the unit comes back, go to Menu - Internet - Network Information and write down your DHCP address, click Exit
9) In web browser, type in the IP address you have written down
10) Enter username: admin, password: 0000
11) Upload a factory U47 bin (Sol_Phoenix_NOVA_Factory_U43.bin)
12) Wait
13) After the unit comes back, do a factory reset (Menu - System - Initialize)
14) Click OK and OK again
15) Do a factory reset (Menu - System - Initialize)
16) Click OK and OK again
17) Do a factory reset (Menu - System - Initialize)
18) Click OK and OK again
19) Do a hard reset (power button on the back panel)
20) After the unit comes back, in web browser, type in the IP address you have written down
21) Upload the 151 bin (090623_Sol_Phoenix_SD_v151_0.bin)
22) After the unit comes back, Do a factory reset (Menu - System settings - Factory default)
23) Click OK and OK again
24) After the unit comes back, go to Menu - Installation - Antenna
and Select your satellite (e.g. 110w) - and set your Diseqc settings to be the same you had before (and which you had hopefully written down) and search for channels
25) Do the same for the second satellite (if you have it, e.g. 119w), rescan
26) Save the channels by saving when prompted

You're done now!

Stay away from nfusion

Here's a message I received today from someone who knows:

dont fawk around with nfusion..it's a matter of time before dish grabs all their customers IP..and then you get busted..trust me that's a public card-sharing..not safe at all

OK Eddy my friend, nfusion bashers have been around for a long time.... I respect you for the number of posts you have so I will only tell you: Those are the rumors, bashers have been bashing nfusion for years (the standalone-FTA-box hardcore peeps)

There are other IKS boxes that use public card sharing (IKS) such as KBOX, Slinger, I-Link, and the new SonicView dongle. Nfusion, actually, came up as the last of the bunch opening N3 channels on D!$h.

Many of the standalone hard-core-rs are jumping on the IKS train.

According to the people in the know, multiple layers of security measures have been implemented on nfusion IKS level, that's why the release took that long. I don't think any of the coders, servers or other stuff is located within the U.S. jurisdiction.

Nobody in Mexico or Bahamas or Jamaica is worried, why should we in the DR be worried then?
