Hello everyone - I've been lurking a little while reading threads, but thought it might be helpful to ask for recommendations more directly. I'm headed to Sosua in about 2 weeks for what will hopefully be a laid-back honeymoon and am interested in what people would recommend to avoid or to do while we were there, since we're not as interested in the tourist nightlife.
So, for a relatively quiet and relaxing time - what restaurants, hotels, tours, daytrips, etc. would you recommend? We're trying to keep things relatively affordable as students, but don't intend to be stingy: safety and relaxation would be more of the plan rather than.. adventure and surprise.
I'd been thinking of some basic snorkeling or a trip out on a (glass-bottom?) boat, but I am not a particularly strong swimmer and we've been a bit paranoid since one of our close friends recently drowned while abroad. So recommendations for a place to go with a boat or better-than-average guides would be appreciated.
Thanks so much!
