Election results just released are:

PRD 48.78 %

PRSC 26.96 %

PLD 23.58 %

This of course means another vote on June 30. Could this be a replay of 1996??

After the third election boletin, when you add the PRD votes with their affiliated partidos, I come up with 50.31% for Mejia, but there is still65% of the voting tables (mesas) not counted.

What a pot of crock, I can't believe this bullshit. When will the Dominican Republic stop being such a joke, PRD won this should be final. What a fricking joke, what a screwed up system.

Balaguer in Second Place!!??

You know, if Mejia does not get 50.1%, he will have to run with
Balaguer, and you know the PLD is going to support Balguer in every step of the way.

I don't like Mejia much, he talks without thinking and that's bad when you have all the power of a Dominican President, but to have a 93 year old man who can't walk, see or help himself in the bathroom sitting in the Presidential office?....

Well....I guess some countries have what they deserve.

I never feel like any of the candidates running for President of the United States deserves my vote. It's like picking the lesser of the evils!
