So, I've read around here that the only movie theater around the north coast was in Playa Dorada? I've also read many bad comments about it?!? So i was wondering if since then, it's been improved, or if there is another one around?
Also, is there a drive-in theater somewhere in DR ?

Are the movies in English with Spanish subtitles? Or Spanish with English subtitles?

I have found that all the movies are in English apart from those considered as childrens films or animation, which tend to be in Spanish (not sure about the subtitles). Personally I think this cinema is fine - it is generally empty which is great and you can get a drink and popcorn! The seats are OK and just so you know, it can be a bit cold.

a slight mystery - I wonder why the movie titles are in spanish if the films are in English,as per listings in the adscene etc
