Today I went with a friend to see his horses in Bedford, NY and look and behold, as soon as I see the road (and it is an actual public road, not part of the stable) I get a Dominican campo flashback. 
Until now, I had not seen that type of road anywhere in the US of A; at least not as an actual public street.
