Are there any good marinas to live on a houseboat. I would be looking in the north coast.
There is nothing like sleeping on the water.:cheeky:

I looked at the listings and have to wonder about THE title of some of these SERIOUSLY OLD AND OUT DATED PLASTIC BOATS WITH A HIGH PROBABILITY THAT THESE VESSELS HAVE BEEN SIEZED BY ,,,, AND THEN RESOLD !

I have the the knowledge and trust me when I tell you if you think you can buy a live aboard boat and live in the DR....

And that's why there are so many for sale ! OR KNOT 4 SAIL !

thats a big site for the amount of people that live in luperon

Absolutely, since me living there till 2001 one who does not know better could get the impression, Luper?n is a busy big town, with all these business opportunities (unfortunately I did not find any prices...) available...

and, hey, my emoticons do not work anymore (the ones to click at...)

Where I come from there's a big difference between a house boat and a boat. BTW there is a 42' Post or Ocean sport fisher for sale in Luperon that looks pretty cherry.

That Post is a beautiful boat, a 1978 needs a "little updating"!
I wonder what kind of shape the engines are in?

Apparently the engines were majored last year in Florida then it was cruised down through the Bahamas to luperon. The good thing is it has twin jimmys, they're bullit proof, easy to work on and the parts are cheap. That's a clean machine.

All the room in the world but for that price I'll go for the Post any day. Plus that cat has a big stick thingy poking out of it. What's up with that?

That's called the "social stick". It means you are available to party and works quite well.

I see Luperon yacht sales has a Lagoon 44 listed at 400k. Holy crap I thought you could buy from the charter fleets in BVI for 300ish or less.
