Does anyone know of a store in the DR that sells Canadian maple syrup?

I found some threads mentioning maple syrup but not a place where to buy it locally. Thanks

PS: Also looking for Braswell's red pepper jelly. El Nacional used to carry it but discontinued it.

Wonderful! I'll try Sirena in Puerto Plata first because it's closer, but I'm going to SD soon. Where is Bravo? Is it a supermarket? Thanks

Another one on Avenida Enriquillo in Los Cacigazgos, and one in the Zona Oriental IIANM.

just curious here. Are you talking about REAL maple syrup? I just moved back to new england (Ipswich Mass)...we get the real stuff here not the store brands.

jrzyguy, what do you mean by the real stuff not the store brands? I was asking about real 100% maple syrup. Maybe I wasn't explicit enough in my post. But for 1499 at Bravo (daddysgirl post) I would hope it is real and the best Canadian or Vermont maple syrup. It's a stiff price for 32oz. Oh, that's my assumption that it is a 32oz bottle.

real stuff

Real maple syrup is expensive. And for what it is worth the stuff from Maine is just as great as Vermont or Canada. If you can wait a few months I'd be happy to trek you some down....I live beside a 20,000 maple tree sugarbush and it was a fantastic year for syrup--warm days and cold nights this spring.

Two quarts is 25 dollars in my town.....

MaineGirl,

Thank you so much. I know the price of real maple syrup. Two quarts for $25 is a very good price! You're very gracious to offer to bring me some! That'll be fantastic.
