Looking for ideas for places to use with this in mind---3 singles travelling ,, like the idea of the all inclusive---day trips to encuentro for surf and return--doesnt have to be all inclusive so all hotel referrals are welcome. thanx
Coconut Palms Resort is right on Encuentro but it means you're a bit out of the hub of things for the lively nightlife! I'm basing this purely on location as I've never stayed there!

All within walking distance of bars & restaurants in Cabarete.
All within about 3km of Encuentro.
I think you'll be happier staying in town & getting a ride out to Encuentro when you want to surf.
