Where I can do the copy of BMW key?

It's a b!tch to get them from the US - you have to prove ownership.
I can add-remove BMW keys for the OWNER'S REQUIEST, however I don't cut them.
Keep it in mind, even if someone can cut the key, you won't be able to use it.
Well, depends on the alarm's configuration, maybe open the door without activating the alarm, but won't crank the car.
The key has to be added and recognized by the EWS module to work.
Once I got a phone number from a client of mine - a used car dealer- who claims that someone can cut and add a BMW key for DR$ 10,000.
I think it's a rip-off price, but what isn't here? ; ) I never asked AutoGermanica about their prices, but if the dealer pays 10G for it to the guy, AG must be even higher.
If I still have the phone # I'll let you know. Perhaps I'll call them tomorrow and ask the number again.
Is it the 6 cyl. or the v-8?
On the 6 cyl. you might want to check the intake boot's bypass hose for cracks, the control arms/ bushings, CV axle boots - mostly the outer, if your A/C does not run perhaps running intermittently it might need a condenser fan also. Make sure there is NO green antifreeze - or even worst- straight water in the cooling system unless you have $$$$$$.
Only OE coolant (blue!) for those - it's good for 4 years- and never over heat it!
90% of the (aluminum block/head configuration) overheated BMW's engine
blocks are junked because during the heat expansion the cyl. head bolts pulls the thread out from the block, so believe me, it is important to maintain a good cooling system.
On the v-8 it's important to update the breather valves for the new design, otherwise it will burn oil and ruin catalytic converters and O2 sensors (about US$ 5000 damage!).
If you need a BMW tech I know one ; )

Therefore, if you drive a BMW in the DR, I guess you better be willing to pay the price.
Good luck. Friend of mine has an '07, 6 series and pays over 2 G's for a set of run-flat, low profile tires for goodness sake.
It's so true. People use to ask me what's the most common problems with Bimmers.
My answer is always the same: - Those owners, who can't afford to drive a BMW.
Unfortunately there are so many "show off" in the DR, buying expensive cars, but can't afford to fill up the fuel tank.

i ain't a specialist but to get a key cut for our mitsubishi we had to go to santiago - and mitsubishi is a popular car...
miesposo tells me that european cars can be serviced only in santiago or SD (other than small fix).
