High-Speed Internet Availability

Hello everyone. I have another question and I'm looking for some info and advice. :)
I will be renting a house in Cabarete that doesn't currently have an internet connection.
I will need the best available internet connection in order to run my business while I'm in Cabarete.

My questions are :
* Is high-speed internet available cable or dsl and what are the providers?
* What is the average wait time for a new installation?
* How much does it cost?

Your help is much appreciated :)

Both are available, cable and DSL. Cable through Cable del Norte. DSL through Codetel. We have DSL. Rate depends on the speed your request. Check rates here Codetel You'll need a land telephone line for DSL. Does this place you're staying have one? Otherwise, it could take forever just to get the land line. Don't know much about cable service through Cable del Norte. I just know a person who had it over a year ago.
