Hi im looking for a song that was popular in DR while I was there this summer

I saw it more than once on MTV or other musical channels...

Thing is I cant remember the name of the song or artist nor lyrics

All (I think) I know is that it was a spanish pop song
the singer was blond, and I think she was puerto rican
and the song was really poppy and kinda girly

and I think it was a number 1 hit or it was high on the charts!!

YEAH I KNOW ... BUT STILL .. maybe some1 knows :p

Well I live in Europe so we dont really get that many latin american channels...
I tried lookin on the net, but with the info I got, its gonna be a long search

And I know its not shakira !!

If don't know the name of the singer even the name of the song, how can I help you?? I have sources but I need more information.
