Sending an international FAX from Puerto Plata

Since I have no phone line, I used to send my faxes from the Codetel place at Beller, near the Central Park.

But for the last few days, after much trying, they have been unsuccessful sending my fax.
They say that lines are bad but not explain much really (may be they don't know much either).

So,to make this short, which other place can I use to send a fax in Puerto Plata?

I do not want to send it from Internet because it is a fax to my bank.
