My husband's son's mother wants to move from New York to D.R. to live with her mother permanantly. How does my husband go about getting the payments routed to his son in D.R.? They have a court date in New York on Dec. 13th but the mother wants to leave on Nov. 30th. What kind of mess will my husband have to deal with if she leaves before their court date?

That seems to be her problem. Alimony is easy to pay from the states to the DR. The woman can go to any one of several places or could have a debit card with the agreed to limit.

Your husband should know that his payments in the DR could be 1/4 of what they would be in the states. $300 a month would be deemed fair.
