Is it okay to bring flower seeds into the DR?

Hola everyone! Would there be any problems if I bring a baggie of Cleome seeds (pretty pink+white, self-sowing flowers) thru SDQ? Do the agricultural scanners detect seeds?
Thanks, as usual, for your help!

It is probably not legal, but we bring seeds in all the time for our garden. Usually pack it in our carry on. You should have no problem.

Thanks, Bob-- I was looking for that kind of "we did it with no worries" response!

I've brought in seeds many times and never once thought about declaring 'yes, i have agricultural products', and I've never had an issue......good luck getting them to grow though...

Make sure the packet has a picture of the fully grown flower otherwise agricultural products, if seen, might be mistaken for narcocultural products and you really wouldn't want that! :paranoid:
