Multiple shipments potentially treated as one?

My office is shipping me the components so I can build myself a new computer. Each component is under $200 so I've asked they ship each piece separately. I've got a Mailboxes, Etc. account so the items will be shipped to a Miami address and forwarded here. Although each item will be a separate shipment they will be shipped at the same time. I'm concerned that customs will treat the entire lot as one and charge me duty.

Anyone have any insight?

Nope, it should be treated as separate shipments. How would they know the parts are related?

Cuz they're all coming to me, I suppose. I've come to accept the fact there are no rules in the DR so I was trying to get some opinions from those with more experience.

Thanks for the info. :)

When I was shipping computer parts, I asked the vendor to ship each part on a different day. Make sure each shipment has its own invoice.
