Coco Cabanas at La Yagua

I was just there. Carolos is looking after the place. He said they still have some clients but they've basically gone to nil. Cabanas and food are still available though. Not sure about the hours.

I was there this past September and loved it! Although honestly I was a little freaked out to see no real major road to actually get to the place [there is a small dirt/rock road off the main highway/road that you have to 'veer' off and drive slowly to actually get to the place. Carlos was looking after the place indeed, it also felt weird that he was the only one there but nevertheless the scenery, beach and quiet is very breathtaking and relaxing. I hope they are still around when I go back in the near future. It is close to Rio de San Juan and Gaspar Hernandez so there are plenty of things to go out and see should you want to drive off and find things to do.

Actually Carlos and Victoria are both looking after the place. They also have some friends here who can help if things get too busy. They are operating it slowly and in their own way waiting for Simon to return. It is very interesting to note that Simon instilled such loyalty into those two that they operate his business for him while he deals with the other parts of his life.
