Arrived with a cat on vacation. The cat has an international certificate. But for the departure require a certificate that the host country had no epidemics.

Where do I take? Before flying to the airport or somewhere else?

Thanks:bunny:

prepare to negotiate with the department of agriculture

you will have to buy a new certificate either from a vet, or from the guy you encountered from the dep of agr... upon arrival. The last one will bitch about it, but do it for 300 pesos...

Good luck

Thanks!

At the airport I could not get a paper on the absence of the epidemic?
Any private veterinarian will issue a certificate or only the public?

Another question:))

Сertificate must be obtained directly before departure? And what are needed to obtain necessary documents besides passports veterinary cat?

Thanks!

I would suggest that you go to an expert. The standard should be the same for all over the D.R. ... but you may find that not true and may have to adjust some.

Asociaci?n De Amigos Por Los Animales De Sos?a, Inc.

Judy works with people taking animals out of the D.R. so knows what is needed. If you need a phone number ASAP, PM me.

Good luck, Ringo
