The Esperanza Project is currently looking for 1 - 2 volunteers to join our small team here in Cabrera for a period of 1 to 4 months. The Esperanza Project offers an educational program which is focused on providing a high quality, student-centered, English-based program, which aims to create a structured and differentiated learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. The students are actively involved in designing and running projects which seek to help and improve the local community, which in turn fosters academic growth and overall social development. The project currently caters to students aged 6 ? 13 yrs old.

This volunteer position does not cost to participate, however, volunteers are expected to cover their own housing if needed, food and personal costs. A home-stay can be arranged for the volunteer before arrival, which will include a private room in a family home, breakfast and dinner daily for $150 - 200 USD a month. The Esperanza Project also supplies lunch, Monday to Friday.

Volunteers must be patient, energetic, caring, and enjoy working with children and youth. Past teaching experience and certifications are a plus, but not required.

For more information or to apply, please contact me via email at info@esperanzaproject.ca or visit our website at Esperanza Project.

We look forward to hearing from you soon! :)

(If you are looking for a summer opportunity, please see our summer camp volunteer positions as listed in other DR1 post, or contact me via the methods listed above.)
