I bought a cheap phone last trip with minutes, Claro. If I am in the States can I add minutes on-line in order to keep my phone and number active in the DR? I would prefer not to have a new number when I return.
do a Google search or go the Claro page in english. I remember there was a way to do it using a 3rd party service like Paypal. I tried to but I didnt have all the information about my Claro account. I cannot remember the name of the companies but there were 2 that were efficient like that. They would allow people with MC/Visa or Paypal to add money to the accounts of people in DR. What I do remember is that they were 2 european companies.
