Are there any 1 or 2 bedroom condos/apartments near the beach (about 5 to 10 minute walk) that are nice and have security, pool, laundry, etc but are not luxury type units? What is the price range to purchase? What is the long term monthly rental price range?
Does this area have restaurants, bars, grocery stores, gas stations, shopping, postal/shipping services, etc? If yes, how do the prices compare to the US?
