Grey water into sewage?

In some places. However, more prevalent is the disposal of the washing machine water into the gutter in the poorer areas. Hence the need of narrow troughs at every intersection so this water will drain.

The grey water into sewage thing is nuts, and dangerous, and very unhealthy. Certain things are just stupid, but I expect this is just a lazy issue rather than anything else. The 'if you can't see it it isn't a problem' approach to building work is beyond belief.

There are two types of sewage. Also, "greywater" isn't the correct term because it includes other things besides clotheswashing water.
