After ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) presidential candidate Gonzalo Castillo did not accept the invitation to participate in a face to face debate, the National Young Entrepreneurs Association has canceled the activity.
Already, the presidential candidates for the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), Luis Abinader and former President Leonel Fernández, now running for the People’s Force, had said publicly they would participate in the debate. ANJE says it received a communication from the campaign directors for Castillo, indicating the candidate already had a commitment for the scheduled debate date.
Castillo has not been available for interviews by leading independent TV, radio or print media. He has neither been available for daily news media interviews. He is carrying out a billion-dollar promotional campaign, speaking through his extensive campaign spots in all media...
