According to Coronavirus Bulletin #145 of the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology, the Dominican Republic has 81,134 confirmed cases, including 595 new cases.

In Bulletin #145, the Ministry of Public Health has added columns that report on the provinces with the highest positivity over the past four weeks. Provinces with positivity over 50% are: Baoruco (83.55%), Barahona (55.32%), El Seibo (57.99), Espaillat (53.44%), Independencia (75%), Montecristi (61.59%), Pedernales (92.38%), Samaná (53.37%), Valverde (50.67%), Hato Mayor (50.96 %), San José de Ocoa (55.06%). With the exception of Espaillat (Moca), these provinces were the last to suffer from spread of the disease.
