We've heard about this being used here in the Dominican Republic before.

Yep CG, this is the drug I posted about here on the forum in April. I bought mine back then and am still expecting to use it if I begin to show symtoms.

JD, maybe you can share what you purchased. Tablets, capsules, liquid, what strength? What dosage for a person based on their weight I assume. Planning on taking anything other than just the ivermectin? did you get your drug strength and dosage from a doctor?

Invermectin also goes by STROMECTOL . It is usually in tablet form and is primarily used to kill parasites and head lice.
It should be available in the DR. Get to your local pharmacy quick as they will run out.

Possibly, but I doubt it. Every pharmacy carries the stuff and has for ages. Cheap, readily available, effective.

No wonder big pharma doesn't like it.

JD, what is the date of information you posted? I am wondering if it is the current recommendation, or if there could have been a change based on experience

Best to consult a doctor who may have access to the latest information, but probably not in this country. Self mediating is just asking for trouble when dealing with protocols that are not well known or understood. The internet is good for some things but this isn't one of them.

While I await my own testing results (which may be available as early as tomorrow afternoon), my secondary chauffeur did indeed test positive/Detectado for Covid-19. He showed neither symptoms, nor possessed ailments, but within a group testing of employees, he was indeed positive.
In consulting with his own primary physician, he was prescribed the following medications:

Ivermectin 6mg...2x daily (every 12 hours) for 3 days (6 tablets total)
Azithromycin 500mg...1x daily for 5 days (5 tablets total)
Subrox-L Cough Syrup (Ambroxol, HCI + Loratadine)...1 tablespoon 3x daily (every 8 hours) until the bottle is complete.
Multivitamin...30 day supply of 1 per day capsules.

As an amateur bodybuilder/workout enthusiast he opted to continue with his own supply of multivitamins, as opposed to the prescribed generic brand. The other medications were provided for him.
He will self-quarantine in his residence for 15 days (with full pay), and then have a follow up exam/test.

*This will be posted within the relevant thread lines which may seek/appreciate this information of real life/real time information within the confines of the RD.

Just a warning, dexamethasone may not be pleasant. As a steroid it is known to result in "roid rage" in some. I did not do well when taking it.
May not be pleasant but saved my wife’s life. I would not take this unless a dr prescribes it and it is for more serious cases.
ivermectin for less serious and early on.
6mg 2 a day for 3 days is what I was told as well for ivermectin
I took 2 rounds of Azithromicine, zinc and some cough syrup for bronchitis and it didn’t help much for my Covid pneumonia that the lung specialist prescribed

I have gotten better by only internet stuff the lung specialist and gastro specialists didn’t help here but I am pretty sick and they don’t quite get you can be sick for 6 months with this yet here.
Ciprofloxacin is the only thing to finally get me breathing okish again, cleared up my kidney issues, UTI and sinus infection and is helping my pneumonia finally. 7 days on it so far, I also take cbd oil, vit b complex, vit d, vit c and melatonin at bedtime. Also oil of oregano as a few days ago.

good luck to anyone who needs it!

Yes, I agree. Was asking because I was curious. My plan is to go to Bournigal if I feel I have the virus, good success there using ivemectin
