The Ministry of Public Health’s Epidemiology Department Coronavirus Bulletin #188 reports 468 cases of persons testing positive to PCR tests over the past 24 hours. The health ministry announced the processing of 3,337 first PCR tests in time for the Tuesday, 22 September deadline. The 14-day average for first PCR tests is at 3,816 PCR tests.

The 24-hour positivity rate for Bulletin #188 is at 14.02%. The four-week positivity rate continues to decline and is now at 17.13%, a striking difference from the 25% positivity rate on Monday.

Local epidemiologists alert that the spread of the virus comes and goes. This situation is why the Ministry of Public Health continues to recommend keeping the curfew and preventive measures.
