The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant) authorized Conatra bus company, to acquire 31 bus units with a capacity of 90 passengers to exclusively operate the Nuñez de Caceres bus corridor in the National District. The president of the company is senator Antonio Marte (Santiago Rodriguez-PRM).
In a note sent by the Intrant to Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, director of the Customs Agency (DGA), Intrant director Rafael Arias requests the validation of special taxation treatment for the import of the vehicles. Arias says the actions are part of efforts to renew the public transport fleets.
