The signs regarding the 3pm ban were still up when I was there earlier(?). Looks like, as usual, the government is making things up and changing them as they go along. You are in the Dominican Republic my friend................................I don't see any news anywhere about a change in the 3pm alcohol ban(?). The way the decree was written, there never was a ban on supermarkets selling alcohol after 3pm.

Was in the National grocery store yesterday at about 430 pm...as they have coolers full of ice cold beer for your shopping enjoyment I had 2,, as I had a powerfull thirst... nobody cared and customer service has the bottle opener...........
